Aloha!
I’m Brooke Sarazyn, founder of Sun-Kissed Botanicals. My journey with herbs began long before I ever set foot in Hawai‘i—rooted in the Finger Lakes region, nurtured by wild meadows, deep forests, and a lifelong connection to the natural world.

Years later, that path brought me here to the islands, where I continue my work with the same devotion, now infused with the spirit of aloha and the mana (life force) of this beautiful ʻāina (land). Every formula I create carries intention, respect for the plants, and a deep understanding that healing is more than just physical—it is energetic, emotional, and spiritual too!

My Healing Journey

My healing journey began at 18 years old, after a series of traumatic brain injuries reshaped my life. Traditional medicine offered only part of the picture, so I began exploring alternative paths: herbal medicine, energy healing, acupuncture, craniosacral therapy, and chiropractic care.

Along the way, I discovered a truth I now hold at the center of my work—everything is energy.

Herbs supported my body’s physical repair, while energy healing helped restore balance to my mind and spirit. I went from living with daily headaches and migraines to becoming someone who understands my body’s language—recognizing symptoms as messages and responding with ancient tools such as energy healing, flower essences, and herbal teas or tinctures instead of relying on pharmaceuticals.

This transformation taught me that true wellness isn’t about masking symptoms—it’s about listening to the body, honoring its needs, and working with nature’s gifts.

My Philosophy: Energy + Herbs

Every plant has a vibrational signature. Just as herbs support the body’s systems, their energetic frequencies interact with the subtle fields around us. When chosen intentionally, herbs can help harmonize inner energy, support emotional balance, and align us with the rhythms of nature.

In my practice, I pair the physical properties of herbs with their energetic qualities—selecting remedies that meet you where you are, in both body and spirit. This is why I often work with flower essences in combination with herbal teas, tinctures, and salves—to create custom blends that nourish on multiple levels.

Art as a Living Expression of Energy

In addition to crafting herbal remedies, I create paintings that flow from the same intuitive connection I hold with plants and energy. Each piece begins as a conversation—with the land, with the spirit of a plant, or with the subtle energies moving through me.

Just as I blend herbs for balance and restoration, I blend colors, textures, and movement on canvas to channel emotion, healing, and vitality. Many of my paintings are inspired by the same plants I work with in my apothecary, translating their essence into visual form.

To me, art and herbalism are two branches of the same tree—both rooted in energy, both carrying the potential to awaken something deep within the heart.
